This mystery kitty looks just like Maya! We've never seen it during the day, and we have no clue where it lives. Apparently, it hangs out with a raccoon because they were caught on the camera around the same time. The mystery black cat also hangs out with a raccoon. Yay for friendly raccoons!
Loving this trail/game camera that my friend loaned me! We've ordered one of our own and it should be here by the end of the week. As for Gretchen, the plan is to just keep monitoring her with the camera. I don't think there is going to be another trapping. That would be trapping number 4 for her and I don't think that's going to happen in a metal trap. She isn't around enough to use the drop trap again. If she stays around here and eats, that will be great and she will hopefully build trust and come around more and more. She is still in a much safer place than she was before. But, she probably feels like I'd feel if I were dropped in the middle of Egypt without a map or wallet. This is foreign territory to her. We need your continued purrs and positive thoughts for her, they always work!

Good luck with Gretchen, we hope she learns to trust you guys and starts coming around more where she is safe and can be taken care of...We hope the mystery cat is Maya's sibling; it would be great to reconnect after all this time!...Happy Wednesday friends...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Wow that's a cool pic! And hanging out with raccoons??? We hope she's in good shape.
That IS a cool camera! I'm glad your getting your own.
Sending more purrs Gretchen's way!
Very Very cool!!!
That IS a way cool camera. I wish we had one for our yard! We're still purring for Gretchen to be safe.
That kitty sure does look like Maya!
We are continuing to send purrs that Gretchen is okay!

Aww poor Maya and Chevelle! Hopefully these kitties from the horse stable have managed like you said to disperse and survive! they really are hardy souls - kitties!
Good luck with Gretchen. Me and Charlie continue to purr, purr, purr for her. Hopefully she will trust you lovely people of the Creek Cats very soon.
Yay for friendly raccoons! Awww!
Take care

That's an awesome pic. We hope that kitty is well and happy.
We will keep sending pawsitive purrs.
Absolutely we are continuing to purr for Gretchen!
And that camera is just the coolest!!
Purring for Gretchen to come back and stay around! That would be cool if this kitty was one of the horse barn ones! Our ferals had managed to find shelter and live out their lives before we got to them. They are resourceful cats!
Wow! Cool picture. We hope she sticks around.
Good luck with Gretchen...she sounds like a smart cat at least she is coming around for food.
The night vision camera makes for a very interesting photo...
Madi and Mom
The mystery kitty is gorgeous! We're purring for Gretchen that she is going to be OK and starts to come over more..
You sure are finding out about all the visitors you have!! We wonder sometimes how many animals, etc. show up in the middle of the night and we never even see them!
We continue to purr for Gretchen and hope she stays around and stays safe.
Shhhhh, don't tell...mom got on at work... HEE HEE HEE. We are still purraying for gretchen and that kitty is really cute. Our 'beans want to get a trail camera too as we have a menacing bear who last night, came on our back deck, knocked over the garbage and then this morning when dad brought it to the curb, the little booger knocked it over and ripped it open EVERYWHERE! So, beofre mom came to work, she was picking up garbage! And, ya know what else he did?!? Destroyed our hummingbird feeder! He's fired!
We are certainly purring for Gretchen. At least now she is in a safer location. xoxo
We hope that she is okay, this is a very cool photo!
Loki
We will continue to purr for Gretchen.
We want one of those cameras now! Maybe if we purr for that too?
Our guardian angel Roger Ramjet was well known in the neighborhood and used to hangout with racoons and opossums...quite the neighborhood king.
We will purr for Gretchen. I personally don't trust raccoons--but you never know...
That's too cool! I didn't know cats could be friends with racoons, but I suppose if they can befriend dogs, then racoons are much more likely. Great fun with that camera!

You are getting some very good pictures of your nightly visitors. Mom wants to put up a camera so she can see id the neighbor hood raccoon, bunnies and squirrels are eating the food she is leaving for the stray kitten! Way too much food is being eaten for one kitten!
That is really cool! I hope she stays around for a long, long time. :)
We're sending purrs for Gretchen! There seems to be a lot of kitties that come hang out at your house during the night! That camera is a cool way to see them all!
Gretchen, we are all purrin' for you, stay safe pretty girl=^Y^=
Count us in, we're purring too!
Mommy wants to get one of those cameras to check out our night time visitors, too. Especially the ones that keep leaving pee-mail on the front door...
Purring for Gretchen, she may come around and show herself during the day. ::paws crossed::
That camera is terrific. You are just finding all kinds of cats. I would love to do that out at my goat barn and see who comes and goes. I may have 40 cats here, who knows.
We are still saying tons of purrs, woofs, heehaws and a Baa that Gretchen will settle in and start to eat there and kind of move in. We want Gretchen to be a part of your life. You need to catch up to our numbers. LOL
Have a great day.
Neat photo! How Gretchen will be ok.
Lots of purrs coming your way.. I so hope Gretchen gets to trust and come to you for some loving.. Hugs GJ xx
We'll all purr for the wellbeing of Gretchen. And the camera really is something.
We want to know all about the cat and raccoon. Sounds like an odd couple, something from a cartoon.
It's the Pink Panther!
We are sending comforting purrs to Gretchen. ~AFSS
Lovin' the info from your trail camera! What fun! Hard to believe that a cat and a raccoon would hang together.
