Hi All! We have some not too good news about Gretchen....she escaped the relocation pen. The servants are baffled as to how she did it, but she pulled a Houdini! There have been a few sightings of her by neighbors, but they are not confirmed (the lady hasn't seen her for herself). The servants have set up a field camera that takes infrared pictures when it detects motion and they've put it at the feeding station under our porch. They haven't captured her on it, but have captured a few other creatures eating the sardines, fried sea mullets and cat food. The lady is working on finding the owner of the black cat in the picture. Tonight they will move the feeding station and camera to a location near the creek where she may have been sighted. Hopefully, the black cat and raccoon won't find the food before she does.

A thrasher?We need you all to send your best purrs and wishes that she will come back here very soon. Your purrs helped her get trapped, now we need those purrs to bring her back home. Please be assured the servants are doing everything in their power to bring her back home.

We are purring HARD...and thinking of anything additional we can offer. How far away are you from where she was originally trapped? Cats are amazing at traveling back "home" again, so I would not rule out searching for her at her old home if it's someplace she could get to given some time.
We had a friend who moved with their cat to a new home and quickly disappeared. Their old neighbors called wondering why they left their cat as she had traveled a mile on her own back "home".

Poor Gretchen. She doesn't understand the humans are only trying to help her. I hope she hears all our purrs and comes back soon!

Oh Gretchen,you need to come back. Feral cats are so frustrating. We are sending tons of purrs, 2 woofs, 2 heehaws, and one Baa. Hopefully she will find the food that you leave out for her. That does make us sad. We were so hoping that Gretchen might have a real home. Lots of paws crossed that she will show up at some food place.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. At least Gretchen is better off than when you first caught her. I guess her wildside is just refusing to be tamed. Where there's a will, there's a way.
Hopefully, she will be found and brought back to safety soon.

Mommy likes your high tech trapping techniques...when we had the feral twins in isolation, she & Daddy had closed circuit TV in their room ro keep watch over them.
