We had a great birthday and we appreciate everyone who came by to help us celebrate. Check out the yummy cake our servants got. We had some nibbles and it was yummy. Don't worry, we didn't eat any of the chocolate.

Necklace is the long-haired brown tabby in the middle.We need some help. Our servants spent all weekend trying to trap "Necklace" you may remember her from the video we posted last month. Well, she is the only remaining kitty in that colony (very sad story involving other wildlife). The servants are trying to save her and move her into our relocation enclosure. They will then be able to access her temperament and determine if she is an adoption candidate. If she is too feral, she will become our "garden cat." She came really close to the drop trap, but she is still too wary. They've tried lots of different bait....tuna, jack mackerel, herring, sardines, anchovies, kfc chicken, catnip, fancy feast appetizers..... Problem is she has already been trapped twice (spay/neuter and revax), once with the metal trap and once with the drop trap. It's just gonna take some time it seems.

Please send lots of positive vibes and somehow will her into that trap so she can be brought to safety. They will be trying everyday until they get her.

I am keeping my paws crossed that you can trap Necklace! She is a very pretty kitty and even if she doesn't want to live with humans, she still deserves a good life. Please keep us posted!

Yummy looking cake! Mommy says that human tuna would be the best thing to put in the trap because the smell carries a long distance and cats love it!

Nigel is the only one of us that has been trapped so he agreed to take the lead and guide us through a coordinated effort to send positive vibes and purrs to Necklace so she can be brought to safety.
Dana, I hate to give you any ideas because you sure know more than me about catching these silly cats. Wish I didn't live so far away, I would come sit there. It sounds like you need to get her hungry. Are you putting the trap where she normally eats?? Does she eat at a certain time of day??? It sounds like someone needs to sit there all day but who has time to do that. Anyway, wishing you lots of luck. It is so frustrating.
I just thought of something else. Put one of those have-a-heart traps out there and maybe you will catch the wildlife and relocate them.

The cake looked quite delicious. You were good little cats to stay out of the chocolate.
I do hope and will say prayers that Necklace can be brought to saftey. It's wonderful that if she isn't adoptable that she wont be euthanized like so many are.
