Sweet Child o'Mine

In honor of Fin being a "New Year Baby" we have posted our baby pictures. Some of us came to live at the house on the creek while we were adults (Rambler and Dixie) and there are no known photos of us as babies :(
So we have posted our first photos after our adoptions. Oh and we threw in the lady and man servant as children for fun. They are so old they didn't have color film in their era...hahaha

Family Tradition

The man and lady had a great Christmas. On Christmas Eve they hosted a family gathering and opened some gifts. We were "locked away" in various rooms while they had dinner. We were not happy! The lady was super happy because she got Guitar Hero Aerosmith for the Wii.
The Niece and Nephew were there and they got lots of cool stuff too. The Niece got a kitty doll that purrs, meows, lays down, sits up.....it even hisses if you pull it's tail! She named her Genevieve.

8 Randoms about Maizy Grace

1. I love to play in the sink (I let the water run all over my head, then shake the water off on to the counter and floor. I think the lady likes when I do this too)

2. I love the man so much, I think it's his fragrance that draws me to him(I just love the smell of racing fuel, brake dust and burnt rubber)

3. One of my favorite things to do is help the lady with her art (I sit in her lap and point out any mistakes I see and constructively criticize)

4. In addition to helping her with art I also love to fluff laundry (The laundry is not done until I put my furs all over it)

5. I love heights and danger is my middle name (Ok, it's really Grace, but you get the picture)

6. Ferris Bueller is my brofur (We are very close, thick as thieves)

7. Out of all my brofurs and sisfurs, Dixie dog is my favorite to nap with (She is like a giant heating pad for me to snuggle with when its cold)

8. I am a nip addict (Hi, my name is Maizy Grace and I love the nip)

Toys In The Attic - Thanks Merlin

We would like to thank all of you for the Christmas wishes and cards. We would also like to give a special thanks to Merlin of the Fluffy Tribe for the pawsome Secret Paws gifts! We don't have your blog url, so if you read this please be sure to leave it in the comments or email it so we can add you to our blog list! We all had such a great time playing with all the toys. Even Cal, who has been pretty sick this year with IBD, had so much fun. It is the first time we have seen him play in a very long time!

Ramblin' Man

8 Random things about Rambler

1. I'm a former feral (It took some time adjusting to indoor life, but now I love it)

2. I got the name Rambler because before I came to live in the house on the creek, March 2008, I would walk the neighborhood looking for food and shelter (My pads were very worn)

3. I have numerous scars on my face and notches on my ears from fights during my life on the mean streets (Now I'm a lover, not a fighter)

4. My age is unknown (To everyone but me)

5. I have never met my brofurs and sisfurs (Because of my FIV, I don't want to put them at risk, I hear they are pretty cool though)

6. I love my toys, I didn't have these cool toys during my feral days (feather toys are my fav, they remind me of birdies)

7. The man and I take lunchtime naps together quite often (He is great to nap with, but he hogs the pillow)

8. I am a world class muffin maker (I can also make biscuits)

California Dreamin'

In the spirit of Gandalf and Grayson we thought we'd do a collage of how we spent our Saturday.
It was a beautiful day, nice and warm . The lady opened the windows and the door to the back porch for us. We had a fun nip-filled afternoon in the toasty sunbeams. The lady took Dixie down to the dock for a little photo shoot. Dixie even cooperated!
However, the beautiful day didn't last and that night brought cold wind and rain.
At least we have this collage to remind us of a perfect December day.

Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree

We all had huge roles in getting the Christmas gifts under the tree this year. We're all exhausted from our hard work and can't wait for this Santa Claws guy to finally come! Well, all of us except Maizy Grace.

Maya served as a place holder for the gifts that were being wrapped.

Cal compacted the gifts before they were wrapped so that more could be placed under the tree.

Chevelle found an open drawer and got her furs all over the mans clothes.

Ferris periodically checked the temperature of Cal's nose to make sure he is not overheating in his sweater, while compacting gifts.

Maizy Grace hid in the cabinet after Ferris told her disturbing lies about Santa Claws.

Maggie May stood guard over the gifts, making sure Cal did not come back to compact them after they had been wrapped.
