3. This is my very first post on this blog (Cause I have been enjoying the spotlight over at my very own blog Maggie May and Her Luxating Patella)

4. I've had 3 knee surgeries (Awe, don't worry.....I'm all better now)

5. I am the youngest with 4 brofurs and 2 sisfurs (There are also the fosters, CC and Snoopy, and a woofie, Dixie)

6. The man calls me Tootie-Toot (Something about breaking wind?)

7. I can kick some major butt (Maya is my favorite wrestling partner)

8. I am very excited about celebrating my very first Christmas this year (And exchanging cards with new friends and participating in Secret Paws)

We would like to take a moment and remember Caddy Caddy. She was the loving cat of our Lady's mother. She had kidney failure and had to be helped over the bridge today. We are all very sad and have leaky eyes. See you on the other side Caddy Caddy, you will be greatly missed!

Ice Ice Baby

We had our first snow flurry on Tuesday! It never snows around here and if it does, it hardly ever sticks (which the lady and man consider a good thing.) It was snowing pretty hard when they left work on Tuesday afternoon. So they rushed home to get the camera to document this frosty phenomenon.

Wouldn't you know, by the time it took them to drive that 1 mile home from work, it had slacked off considerably. The lady was still able to get a few shots, of course, you will have to biggify the pics in order to see any snow flakes.

And just like that......it was over!

1. My name is Maya and I'm a boy (I know, how embarrassing!)

2. I was born in a barn (To a feral mother, the barn had horsies!)

3. I was abandoned and had to be bottle-fed at around 3 weeks of age (The mom left Chevelle and me behind and we were sick)

4. I am the fraternal twin of Chevelle (She's the one with the big ears)

5. I am impervious to the laser pointer (Don't understand what the fuss is about, I don't see no red light! All I see are some crazy cats running back and forth across the floor like their tails are on fire.)

6. I can roll over (Yep, like a woofie!)

7. I come running when the man whistles (I will also "whistle" back while running to find him)

8. I am classified as a red, domestic medium-hair (Sometimes the lady and man call me the red-headed stepchild?)

Monday, Monday

We had a very nice weekend. Cal no longer needs to have a enema, so that is good! The lady went to another bazaar on Saturday and scored a very cool mirror for $2.00. She brought it home and painted it black and then hot glued some starfish on the front. While the paint was drying, the mirror had to be moved to the porch so somekitty, Iwon'tsaywhoChevelle, would not walk across it.

Then the niece and nephew came by for a visit. The niece is 5 years old and wants to be a vet-dentist-artist when she grows up. She loves to play with us, but not in the chase us around and pull our tails kind of play! The throw our mice across the room for us to fetch kind of play! That is so fun, we like her a lot! The new one on the other hand, is only 6 months old, so he can't do a whole lot on his own. However, he does look like the kind to chase us around and pull our tails, so we are gonna have to keep an eye on him.

On Sunday afternoon the lady had to go out in the cold, brrrr, and trap some kitties for spay/neuter today. She and another lady trapped 4 kitties! Poor guys, if they only knew what awaits them this morning! At least after the whole vet experience they get to spend 48 hours in post op, in a climate controlled rehab, with stinky goodness, so that ain't so bad.

Help keep Moki warm! He has a severe UTI and is urinating blood, his body temperature is low. We are purring for you Moki!!!

Somewhere Out There

Our adoptive parents have to be out there somewhere!

**Things started moving for Cal Friday night and Saturday, so looks like he has dodged the enema! Thanks for the canned pumpkin suggestions, but he tried to cover it.**

Yesterday

"This is how I feel about going to the vet!"

So yesterday afternoon the lady and man captured me and put me in the PTU for a re-check at the vets office.

"This is the only pic of me at the vets office. When the lady broke out the flashy box while waiting for the Doc, the man covered his face with his hand and said something about it embarrassing him...haha!"

The weekend was fast approaching and although my appetite was great and I was no longer vomiting, I had become a bit dehydrated and was unable to go #2 in the litter box. So I was given flooids! I was not happy at all!!

"That is flooids dribbling out of my puncture hole."

Now I have a rather large camel hump on my back and the flooids are dribbling out a little. I was also give a stool softener to help things move along and they are cutting back on my predisolone to once per day. I heard them say something about an enema(!) on Monday if no improvement?! So the flooids and docusate better start working!

"Nom nom nom nom!"

While we were out the lady went to the store and stocked up on our stinky goodness......this outta hold us for about a week.

Here Comes The Weekend

Well, the weekend is almost here. That means the lady will finally have time to do the laundry.......and I'm gonna lose my comfy bed!

**Cal is doing great, eating a lot and no vomiting! In fact, he is eating so much, the lady says he is about to eat us out of house and home......whatever that means! She has to go after work today and stock up on some more stinky goodness for him. She believes the raging appetite is from the predisolone. She also says that he pees a flood!**

Sweet Emotion

Happy Veteran's Day!

We are very happy to announce that Cal ate almost an entire 3.5 oz can of stinky goodness yesterday and kept it all down! Medicines too! His appetite seems to have improved greatly and he is not as finicky as he has been. The lady has a stockpile of a variety of canned foods because Cal would eat it one day and try to cover it the next. She has found one that he really enjoys! Yay! The lady is very happy because today she has to call the new vet with an update and she can give Dr. D a good report!

Thanks to all for the wonderful suggestions. The lady tried baby food early on and he wouldn't eat it, but he wouldn't eat anything at that point, just didn't have an appetite. Maya and Chevelle were given A/D as babies. They were very sick and unweaned when the lady and man found them and had to be nursed to health. When they were able to eat solid food, A/D was their diet for a quite a while and it is fabulous. You have all been so wonderful and caring and we love you all!!

Thanks to Shadow, Molly, and Their Beans for their prayer vigil to those who need healing.

The beautiful and super-floofy, Siena, gave us two awards.......they have really brightened all of our moods, especially Cal!
