Lucky

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
We were hoping for a nice, low-key weekend, but it was quite eventful! Our man servant is a mechanic and he does lots of side work here at our house. Well, Saturday afternoon, he was using an 18oz ball hammer to loosen a tire on a van so he could get to the brakes. Unfortunately, the hammer's handle broke and the ball deflected off the rim and hit him square in the forehead. So he and the lady spent the afternoon in the ER. He had to get a tetanus shot and 7 stitches. It was so deep, the doc could see bone! He didn't pass out or anything so that was good. He was so lucky he didn't get a bad concussion or the ball didn't hit him in the eye or crack his skull. It could have been soooo much worse and we are thankful it wasn't! We've been taking very good care of him. He even brought us this cool bracelet from the hospital! Saylor likes to tote it around in her mouth!

I don't really know what a man servant is, but I hope he gets well very very soon. I better not wish him a headbonk and nose rub just in case it hurts him - but lots of purrs and tummy tickles!
