Felix Is Now A Blogger!

Introducing Katnip Lounge! We are so excited to announce Felix is now a blogger! Thanks to everyone who stopped by Maggie May's blog and left a comment for Felix. Please stop by his new blog and give him and his big cat family a big CB welcome!
In other announcements....... The spay/neuter clinic was a great success over the weekend. In all, 50 homeless cats were spayed/neutered and vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Wow, just think of all the kittens that have been prevented from being born to homeless mothers. Our mom is exhausted because she has been trying to trap a momma cat all weekend on her breaks from working the clinic. She's tried the metal trap and the drop trap and has come so close to getting her. She is really frustrated, but will try again this week, so wish her lots of luck!
Oh and she tried to get Maggie and Maizy to have a joint birthday party since their birthdays are only 2 days apart. Maggie May said there was NO WAY she was sharing her special day with Maizy. Maggie's mad cause her leg furs have still not grown back from the abscess.

I sure know your frustration in catching that Momma kitty. Good job getting all those cats spayed and neutered. That is so great the college came and did that.
We sure will go visit that new blog. We love to meet new people.
Of course Maggie and Maizy have to have separate birthdays, why would they do anything that was easy.
Have a great week all of you.

Excellent news on the clinic!!!!
I can empathize with mom's frustration about that cat. We have 10 cats that come to our house for dinner every night and there is 1 that has eluded us for almost 2 years!!! She sees a trap and literally goes the other way. Ugh. She is pregnant right now and it makes me very sad that I can't get her.
I guess we all just have to keep trying!!

Carrie

Yay for Felix! I'll have to stop by his new blog!

I have to agree with Maggie and Maizy - birthday parties are not meant to be shared! That would be even worse than if I had to share a birthday with Binga. Yuck! At least your human's heart is in the right place with the homeless kitties. I hope she catches the momma cat soon! Will try to send calming purrs to the kitty so she realizes it's okay to be caught.
