It's Getting Better

We are happy to report the stress and tension has greatly improved here on the creek. Maggie and Maizy are both on Amitriptyline. It has really helped! Hardly any hissing from Maggie and no chasing and biteys from Maizy for a few days now. Maggie May goes for a recheck at the vet tomorrow. Her leg looks great and the abscess has completely healed. Now just waiting for her fur to grow back. The calming collars are still on the others and Chevelle gets her ears rubbed with flower essences. They seem to really be working, just look at this picture! Chevelle and Ferris have never ever laid within 5 feet of one another and they shared Dixie Dog's bed the other night!

The lady donated some of her retro owl note cards to a blog that hosts giveaways. Anyone can enter to win. Go HERE!

Rambler would like to thank everyone for his Gotcha Day wishes!! Happy week, everyone!

That is fantastic to see! I wish my family would also settle down and act like the Creek Cats! Äiti is taking Aila to the vet (and Harris-veli as he is poorly), and will get more advice on what to do with Tuomo.
Nose nuzzles and headbonks to Maggie May and all her FRIENDS!

I love that dog bed. I am happy to hear that everyone seems to be getting along.

When Marshmellow attacked Pearlene last Oct. or Nov. Iseperated them and have kept them seperated since. It was the 2nd attack . I am still waiting for Pearlenes hair to grow back completely.

Amitriptyline is our magic pill! Literally! We have Nick an Snafu on half the dosage the Vet prescribed. Just enough to calm them and not totally surpress their personalities. Snafu just chases the other kitties now and doesn't just attack them out of nowhere. It's an improvement along with the peeing issues. I'm glad to see it working for you. We've been thinking about getting the calming collars too.

Oh that is so exciting that the medicine is working. I might have to try some on these guys. I am going to write down the medicine and ask our vet.

I am going to check out the giveaway for the owl note cards. Thanks. Have a wonderful week.

I'm so glad that things are starting to work out! We've never had more than a minor squabble here, so I just can't imagine the stress it must cause you, as well!

Great news!

Poor Dixie Dog, though -- she seems to be the one who loses out -- someone's always in her bed.

Love the picture with both on the dogs bed.
We tried with Luzie that calming collar too but she was allergic against it and got a bad cough.

We're glad to hear that things are calmer around there. I have used Rescue Remedy (a combination of flower essences) when needed for the cats and it really does help.

And thanks so much for your good wishes for Jenny – I am so proud of her! She was born with a physical disability which caused many issues early on, especially in school, but has worked through it to the point where no one can tell she is disabled. I think she will really be able to help children because of this experience (and because she's just a great person, of course!)
