As the years go by the pain of losing a beloved pet becomes easier to handle ~ but somehow the missing them never ceases.
Cal is lvingly remembered by us too.

It seems so strange when they're gone, doesn't it? We lost Whisper 2 1/2 years ago and I still sometimes think it feels odd to crawl in bed and not have him come over to burgle snuggles in the dark.
Cal was such a handsome boy!

Ohhhh. A year is like a blink of an eye. Close yur eyes, get a picture of him in yur mind and pet him and give him a big hug and send hellos to him ofur da bridge. He'll feel it.
I can't believe it's been a whole year. We miss him too. When I started my blog I had just lost my brother Lewis to cancer and Cal reminded me so much of him that he comforted us (Cal and Ernie of the Island Cats). Mom is just also realizing that it's been almost exactly 2 years since our woofie Colby went to the Bridge...so many wonderful guardian angels waiting for us at the Bridge. It will be quite the party when we all get there.

Cal sure was a pretty cat. It's amazing how quickly time seems to pass...thinking of you and remembering Cal today.
it doesn't seem like it has been a year since cal's passing. i remember your kind words when kimiko was sick. sometimes it seems like only yesterday when we lose one of our beloved pets. perhaps cal and kimiko are sharing a sunbeam and a little nip today.

A year goes by very fast. Hana has already been gone for 4.5 months. Our furries will always live in our hearts and we will never forget them.
Cal is keeping close watch on you all from The Bridge. Next Thursday, April 1st, will be 1 year that Scooter(RIP) left us for The Bridge. Mom says she's going to have an awful day. She's off from work the following day and says she'll probably have some wine Thursday. Sending you gentle hugs today.

Time goes by so fast and we miss those who went before. The pain lessens with time, but we never stop missing or loving them. That is a lovely photo of Cal.
Time does not alter the love we have for our furry children, it only tames the ache within our hearts, sending many purrs and snuggles your way.

Time is relative. Skeeter been gone since Dec 2008 and it hurts The Big Thing like it was just yesserday...
We purr on him lots and all, but the doughnut hole is still there.
