Funny story..... it was the next to the last lap of the boat race and the lady was sitting on the seawall at the port, watching the boats fly by at high rates of speed. Well, this boat turns the corner and heads straight for the seawall going over 100mph. Everyone starts to freak out and back away from the sea wall. Well, as the lady was trying to run for her life, she tripped over her dad's friend's lawn chair and ate the pavement in front of everyone....HAHAHA! She fell on her right side and has some bruises and has clicking and weakness in her shoulder, but the worst part is the camera didn't make it. It's dead, like completely. She can't even get the pictures off that she took of the boats. Still not sure if the boat was pulling a stunt or what, but got so scarily close to the sea wall, even the announcers thought they had lost control of the boat. She's not upset about it just a little in the shoulder. She says if she hadn't been sitting so close, she wouldn't have gotten so scared.

Free Falling
Well, we no longer have a working camera. The clumsy lady servant broke it when she fell at the boat race yesterday. This is the second digital camera she has broken in only a year. Can we trade her in?

We're a bit stiff here but we don't think that's so funny. The people got scared because of that "stunt" and your poor mommy hurt herself. The most important thing is that she gets well in no time, you can replace a camera easily but not the shoulder. We admire her for not losing her good humour! Ours would be saying bad words. Purrs to your momma!

We took a vote. You don't get to trade in your mom. You need to all gather around her and administer purr therapy on her hurty shoulder. Then help her cruise the internet for a new camera.
Cameras can be replaced but not Moms. Purring her shoulder feels betters real soon.
Oh noes! I hope your Mommy's shoulder isn't too owchie! It's dangerous when humans fall...they aren't as tough as us kitties. I agree, it's better to hurt the camera than your Mom but yeah, she shouldn't break so many cameras....
Owch! Sorry your mommmy took a spill - on pavement stinks even worse! Maybe the camera has a card with the pictures on it. If it does, it can be removed and pictures saved...maybe? ~Co9T
It's really not a funny thing at all when someone gets hurt like that! Well, maybe in retrospect it's kind of amewsing, but only because of the visual picture that it creates.
I sure hope your mama heals quickly. Maybe she should get that clicking shoulder checked out by a doctor -- something might be loose!

Glad your mom is mostly O.K. To bad the camera died. Similar thing happened to my digital camera 1 1/2 years ago. My husband put it in his pocket. Screen broke and you can't tell what the camera is saying, it's stuck stupid. No $, so I use camcorder. Wonderful story telling.
That IS a funny story. I am sorry about the camera. Ours is in it's last days, so we can understand how you feel right now. The Mommeh says everything seems to wear out at the same time...puters, cameras, fridgeys...and the list goes on.
I am so sorry to learn of the accident. I hope your mommy can heal up easily and as soon as possible. And how disheartening about losing the camera and photos!
