We wanted to participate in
Fin's Tweet Week, so here is our contribution. Our lady servant was going to post this on her super boring blog about herself (and not us cats!), but we're glad she didn't have the time (was too lazy) to post it, cause it's perfect for this week!

A few weeks ago the man called the lady down to the garage for some help. When she walked in, this is what she saw. This is the second hummingbird to fly in the garage and not be able to fly back out of the two huge garage door openings.

The silly bird kept flying around, banging it's head on the ceiling.

The last hummer to do this tired out pretty quick, but not this guy! He must have really been hopped up on some serious nectar because he wasn't wearing out anytime soon.

For a good thirty minutes the lady stood in the middle of the garage holding up a hummingbird feeder because that's what had worked the last time.

After a while, the man took over and held up the feeder, but the bird was having none of it. So the man climbs on the back of a truck he had on the car lift, he reached up and grabbed the little bird.

After a few slurps, the hummingbird flew off to a nearby mimosa tree to refuel!

What a sweet, sweet post. It's got the PM all teary eyed. Such a display of kindness. The PM's Dad once tied a flower on a stick and fed a huge bumblebee that was bobbing around in the high rafters of the cottage.
The world would be a much better place with more people like your beans in it.

Oh wow! Yay! for the man helping that little hummer! How did the man ever catch that little guy?? We have hummers and they move so fast we couldn't imagine catching one!
Bet that Hummer was grateful for the help getting him out. Birds can be silly sometimes though, they fly in our kitchen door then try to get out the closed windows.
What a lucky birdie. Mummy would have tried to save him too, but I think if we're honest we would have tried to nom him!
Awwwww... That is so Tweet!
Good save, we lurv the humming birds around here.....or at least to watch through the windows and chatter at!
HEY! I just saw ME on your "You Might Also Like...." WOW--thanks!
Here, I've not seen one little hummer. Wonder if we put out some juice they might come here? Those pictures are cool--'specially the man holding the teeny tiny tweet!

Oh, that's so cool that your dad was able to catch the hummer and hold him long enough to get him to feed! We bet that was cool. Well done, mom and dad beans!

That is a seriously tiny birdie. It was very kind of your hoomin to help him out.
Holy Smokes!!! Your dad actually CAUGHT IT!!! That's pawesome! We have hummingbird feeders too and mom's been trying to get their picture ALL summer, to no avail. We do have one that mom named Helga. She's such a witch. she sits on the clothes line right by the feeder and chases away all the others hummingbirds! She's NOT even drinking it!!! Just hogging it! She's so fresh!!!
Aw - thanks so much for helping the hummingbird! We think you are wonderful.
Good thing Daddy was there.

That hummer must have been getting tired for your Dad to be able to catch him. They are so fast. We have not put feeders out here, but our Grand mother has them.
