Gretchen spends most of her day in her kitty cube on the bed in her room instead of constantly hiding under the bed. She is still learning what it is to be a spoiled kitty. She is making good, but slow progress. Sometimes she will play paws with the other kitties under the door. She still loves rubs and pets :)

How wonderful to see Gretchen learning the ways of the pampered kitty. She sure is pretty.
It may be slow going with Gretchen, but someday she will realize what a totally great life it is being a housecat!

Awww .. we are always pleased to see Gretchen warm and comfy and loved ... owtside is no place for a beautiful cat.
The best thing is knowing Gretchen never has to be cold or hungry again.

She is looking much more content these days. I am still amazed at her progress.
We just love that she is inside and safe! We remember those photos of her with that special camera when she escaped from the outdoor enclosure. She's come so far!
Kitty cubes are so cool -- I need to get Mom and Dad to get ours back out. I remember playing paws under the door with Josie and Huggy Bear when they were still fosters before they officially became siblings. It is a fun game. I'm so glad she's getting used to her space.

Gretchen is a very lucky kitty and it seems she is starting to know that too! We're so glad she's learning the joys of being a loved, spoiled indoor kitty!

Gretchen is so pretty! We are glad she's come out from under the bed.
P.S. We hope you are OK there - our mom read that Wilmington NC has received over 20 inches of rain since Sunday (!!!), plus that there are currently all kinds of weather watches for the NC coastal area.
