Wordy Wednesday - Saylor's Doppleganger

This is the new kitty "Zoey" who has showed up at work. Jr built her a "cattyshack." I cannot get over how much she looks like Saylor! I'm almost 100% sure they have the same momma because Saylor was trapped at the same place last year. I'd love to get that momma spayed, but we've never even seen her. Well, we trapped "Zoey" yesterday and she will be spayed today. I decided to do it now so that I can keep her in the house and safe from any inclement weather we may get from Hurricane Earl. We are right on the NC coast, so we may get brushed and I didn't want her out there all alone.

I'm going to try to make her my "office cat" at work. We'll see how that goes over with my boss. She is very sweet and rolls around and meows a lot when I visit her. I may put the trail camera out to see if momma kitty ever shows up at night.

I'm so glad you rescued that kitty - stay safe and I'm keeping paws crossed that Earl keeps its distance from you!

Aw! One cute little kitty who will now be safe and warm and dry. Paws are crossed for the weather. We do not know what a hurricane is but Äiti says it's worse than Tuomo in a temper (with rain) so we really hope that Earl leaves you alone.

We're happy you got Zoey and that she'll be spayed today. Lots of purrs to her for the surgery and recovery. We hope she can stay in your office!

We hope Hurricane Earl misses you...Our mom's a bit concerned because her mother and step-dad live in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Earl is tracking toward NS, at least right now.

Zoey is gorgeous - and she does look a lot like Saylor!

We are hoping Earl misses the NC coast - we've been watching the maps carefully, but hurricanes are so unpredictable. In any case, please stay safe - we'll be thinking of you.

Hi Creek Cats and Dixie...
You all hunker down tomorrow night!!
Wise decision to get Sweet Zoey off the streets. We'll certainly have all of our coastal friends in our prayers over the next few days. Let's hope Earl makes a great big turn out into the wide open ocean.
Hugs Madi and Mom

Best of luck making her an office kitty. When it works well, it works very well. But not always. I will hope for the best.

Hey Creek Cats - we stopped back by to let you know that we're thinking about you - we've been tracking the hurricane and the forecast for the NC coast looks a bit scary. We're very glad Zoey and Gretchen are inside with you. We hope all goes well tomorrow and Friday.
