Zoey Is A Ziggy!

I was so sure the black kitten was a girl.....nope, it's a little boy! It's the SWEETEST little boy! Reminds me so much of Saylor, she was such a sweetheart (and still is). The vet estimated his age to be around 5-6 months old. Did someone dump him? Usually by that age with no human socialization, a cat is feral --not Ziggy! Oh the mysteries..... His future is still uncertain, but what I know for sure is, he will be safe in our home from Hurricane Earl.Maggie May likes to watch over him and they talk back and forth.

Earl has me a bit concerned, he's a biggie and he's getting close! The weather people say he is going to take a turn to the East and we pray he does because he is a CAT 4 system with winds of 135mph.We are in the yellow circle, may need to biggify.

How happy am I that Gretchen is in the house and we don't have to worry about her! I think she's pretty happy about it too :)
And of course, we still have Sweetie and she is doing wonderfully! She is eating like crazy and craves constant attention. If you don't give it to her, she gives you "the paw!"Please keep us and everyone in Earl's possible path in your thoughts. Of course, I am worrying myself to death of the feral cats, but I am thinking positive thoughts that they will find substantial shelter.

MOL, Sweetie is a lot like me! I'll give you the paw if I want attention too! I'm glad Gretchen and Ziggy are safe with you now, and really, really hope that Earl goes eastwards!

We will purr and purr for the feral cats ~ and hope they can find shelter. It's heartbreaking that there should be so many to worry about ~ if only folk would neuter.

But how wonderful that we don't hafta worry about Gretchen and Ziggy. Love to yoo all ~ stay safe.

The ferals are very resourceful - they are survivors. Ours were outdoors in 2004 with two hurricanes - mostly rain but 20 inches each time! They came thru fine. See yours surrounded by protective white light - and I will do the same.
