We thought our family might be expanding again when Sebastian and Reilly's new mom emailed saying they needed to give them back due to the fact that her husband is getting laid off from work soon. We made plans to meet next weekend to pick them up and bring them back home. However, the next day she emailed again saying they'd decided to keep them, they love them and when they adopted them, it was for forever. We are so happy because the boys seem very happy with them and they email me updates weekly. It's just a very scary and uncertain time for their family right now.
Dixie Dog got a new bed over the weekend. Maizy is even letting her sleep in this one a little bit.

Yes, it is a hard time for everyone but having a pet is such a comfort that if you can find a way to keep it, you're definitely going to win in the long run. Congratulations on your award!

We're glad the kitties are staying in their forever home, just like us. Regarding the bed, sometimes we let Mom have hers. But she has to share. And cats need lots of room to stretch out.

It is so hard for families now and especially at the holiday season. We are glad they took their commitment to Sebastian and Reilly seriously. But is it good to know that you are there if things get really bad for them.

The poor family. That is very scary. And so close to Christmas too. We're sure they can make it though. Of course two kitties cost some money, but surely Sebastian and Reilly would give up on treats and new toys for some time to keep their forever home. Best of luck to them!

In today's day and age, it is very scary with the economy. Our beans are VERY grateful that they have empolyment, even though they may bi*ch about it at times. We are glad to hear that they are keeping the kitties, and deep down they know that if dire straits happen, you'll always take them back. Lovin' the new bed! BTW...your Christmas card is going out tomorrow! ;o)

My mom is going to shop this week for my secret paw gift and try to get it in the mail. She cannot find where we sent you our mailing infomration and ideas for me, did you get it? I would fire her as a secretary but then I would have no one to help me out. Oh well.
