Into The Groove - Update with correct link!

***Thanks to Jan's Funny Farm for letting us know our raw food link was incorrect. We have now fixed it!***
Well, we've made a little progress with the raw food. I mixed about a teaspoons worth into their Wellness canned food and no one noticed, except Maggie May. She would only eat a tiny bit of the food before turning up her nose and walking off. She's gonna be a tough one!
I am thankful for the help we've gotten from several bloggers who also feed raw. Daisy the Curly Cat and Busby and Raymond have helped to answer some of the questions I've had. Our friend Drew from World's Best Cat Litter was so kind to email me a link to an awesome raw food website, Feline Nutrition Education Society.Tomorrow the BCCP will be participating in a jumble sale at the historical grounds. We'll be selling homemade note cards featuring photographs and artwork from the volunteers. I will also try to sell my newest painting to help the feral kitties get TNR'd! But, if it doesn't sell, I'm sure I can find a spot on my wall for it. Be sure to stop by Maggie May's blog today. She has a great post about the Shelter Pet Project!!!

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Good luck with the raw food...us cats can be so difficult when it comes to switching our foods!

And good luck at the jumble sale! We hope you raise lots of $$$!!!

We love our raw too!

It took us a little while to get used to it...but it's worth it. Now we both love it.

Good luck with the Jumble Sale tomorrow!

We haven't done much with the raw food yet, the couple of times it's been tried, only 2 or 3 of us would eat it (that's before the new kids came along). The Mommy hasn't given up yet, though, and at least the dry food and occasional canned food is more healthy than what we used to eat. Keep trying! :)

Good luck with the jumble sale, that's a pretty painting!

Good luck at the sale tomorrow. Mom said she'd go to the sale if we were closer vs. being on the other side of the country!

I tried raw hamburger before and I loved it. I think mom should try again. We tried a dehydrated raw food and we were not too sure about it.

Maybe it's just matter of time, and Maggie will like that food!
I loved a lot the post and all pink colours!

Raw food is the best food for cats... the Woman says she is still working on us to get us to eat it--I am VERY stubborn and Gemini is not very smart when it comes to food. sigh. So she keeps working small amounts into our food and then mixing and sometimes we eat it and sometimes we don't...

Thanks for posting the link to the nutrition website, we are going to check it out. Glad the raw food went over fairly well. We started out the same way, a little bit at a time.

Hope the sale goes well, have a great weekend!

Good news about the raw food. It isn't easy to get us to eat something different is it? ; ) The other day mom offered us chicken liver, chicken hearts and turkey stomach. Only the liver got good results, with a little bit of persuasion the hearts, but we wouldn't touch the stomachs. And she tried Daisy's raw egg recipee without success.

Us too, thanks for the raw food info, we have been thinking about changing as well.

I'm glad you are making some progress with the raw food! Sometimes now we have little snacks of pieces of raw chicken thigh or gizzards. My Mommeh sometimes has to sprinkle a little Nutritional Yeast on top to get me started but then I love it! She thinks it is funny to see a little cat like me chewing and chewing on pieces of meats.

Are you sure you have the right link on here? It takes us to fnes.com which doesn't have anything on it related to cats or diet.

Could this be what Drew sent you?

When Mom tries to get us to eat new food she adds a little at a time and even when it's all the new stuff she tops it off with a dab of the old food - in this case just put a bit of Wellness on the raw food and see if it gets eaten. We can't seem to tell it is different underneath and just eat it all! Hope it works.

We wish you great success on selling your painting, which is very pretty! Mom and a friend are trying to find a local vet to work with them on a reduced rate basis to TNR the ferals at the Swamp. No luck, but they have not given up yet.

Mom iz also thinking of trying raw foods. The prescription foods for Gandalf's FLUTD is making everybuddy, especially Whitey, very fluffy. Mom is hoping that raw food may help Gandalf, too.

We think you should come up with another plan for the empty spot on the wall, we are sure that painting will sell. It looks great.

Mom bought us a bit of raw food at the store today so we could sample it. Ellie gobbled it up like she was starving...she kept stealing it from everyone else's plate, including my own. My own mother! I think mom will try some more. She started out with beef.
