Raw Power
Last week the lady went nutzo and made us some raw food using a premix she bought online. She spent over an hour preparing the meals and only two of us ate it, Ferris and Chevelle. The rest of us only picked at it and walked away. She is going to try giving us some more soon. In the meantime, we are going to enjoy our Wellness canned food.
The yard sale for the BCCP went great! They raised nearly $2000.00 for TNR!!

Glad to hear the yard sale was a hit! Too bad the food wasn't. It was very nice for your mom to try so hard!
Oh dear your mum went to all that trouble and you didn't like it.. But thats brilliant news about he yard sale.. That is a super ammount to make.. Hugs GJ x
Happy Happy Happy! 2k is a lot of help for the kitties!
Yard sale
it sounds great :-)
I hope you like next time your food
it looks so yummie ....
;)
At least try the food for mommy to make her feel good.
cindy
Good noos abowt the yard sale! Well done.
Why do we cats have to be so picky? I have never figured that one out. On the other hand, if you had a dog around, I'm sure that food would have been gone is less than 10 seconds!
your pal,
Bruce:)
I'm sure you'll all eventually like it...it can take a little bit of time to get used to new food. Our Mom tricked us by mixing it into our other food.
Yay for the BCCP! Great news!
P.S. Mommy says that The Stooges Raw Power is one of her favorite albums!
Hi Creek Cats!!!
Too funny that some of you didn't like that special food Mom prepared.
We cats like what we like and nothing else.
Madi and Mom
I know your mom was trying to give you really special food and all.. I also know she worked oh so hard to prepare all of that food for you but someone needs to let her know that we don't like our food changed.
Liked your pretty pink food dish!
We tried a raw mix once and we didn't eat it either...but I'm guessing we should have given it a chance.
Congrats on a super successful day raising money for TNR!
Wowie, that's a lot of green papers you all raised. Hooray!
I think it was good that two of you took to the raw food right away. It took me about 2 weeks to start eating it, starting with just a tiny bit "hidden" inside my old foods. And I refuse to eat beef or venison. Harley will eat anything!
ps: We are considering getting an order from Hare-Today soon.
Hmmm...well, there are finicky creatures, aren't they? I commend you for making the effort on improving their nutrition!! I really should try that too.
So glad the yard sale was a big success!!
Purrs, C
I am told I am rather picky in my eating too. Sigh.
Congrats on the yard sale! That's terrific!
We hope our mom doesn't try to feed us that raw food...we'll stick to our canned stuff...(but we do eat only grain free!)
Congrats on a successful yard sale!!
I've never tried the raw stuff... I think Glogirly is a little on the lazy side. ...something about being too busy helping a certain CAT with her CAT BLOG...
Katie
Hurrah! We're glad the yard sale was a success! That's great.
We eat raw food. Our Mom makes it for us once a week, using a recipe from a book by Dr Pitcairn. It took us a little while to get used to it but now we love it.
Purrs, Raymond and Busby
YEAH....cat cash...terrific! Our Spooz eat Wellness but we eat Merrick canned....Mom might try us on Wellness again 'cause Merrick is getting to chunky which we don't like and they are putting less food in the cans:(....Our Vets are not sure about raw.....we do grow our own kitty grass!=^Y^=
$2000 is a lot--that's awesome! Have you tried mixing the raw with some of their favorite food? That might help them get used to it.
We are both very picky eaters, so we're happy our bean has finally quit trying to get us to eat new foods......YAY on the sale, that's really good news.
xxxxxx
That is So pawesome about the yard sale! Mom told our dad and he wants to sell effurything! MOL, he's crazy! We will be post the card we got from you all, tomorrow at Skeeter's purrday pawty, which we really hopes you'll be there!!!
We are picky about our food, too. WE are so glad the yard sale brought in so much the kitties at BCCP
Great news about the yard sale. We don't like raw food either and Mom has tried lots. we like Wellness and even like Pet Gurad in some flavors. Mom found another food called Weruva that we like alot.
Yay! I'm so happy the yard sale did so well! OoOO raw food sounds interesting! Hope its super yummy!
That's great news about the yard sale!
I've never tried a raw diet with my kids before...I think I'd have a picky group too.
yummy ^^
Congrats on the yard sale success!
And keep plugging at it with the homemade cat food! At least you got two of them hooked so far.
Oh, we have some raw food mix in the treat cupboard, but I don't know if Mom would make it. I'm sure Victor would eat it, but... I don't really like change and would rather have my kibbles. I approve of Wellness, too.
Purrs,
Nina
Great job on the yard sale. That is fantastic. And you kitties are so lucky to have that mom that is trying to give you good food. I bet you get used to it eventually.
This isn't meant to sound as sarcastic as it might, but if the food is raw why did it take two hours to make? Couldn't she just put it in the bowl? I'm glad the fundraiser was a success.

So happy you made so much money for TNR. What a great program that is. We are too finnicky for any dietary experiments.
Good news about the yard sale. There is an effort that got the appreciation it deserves.
Kudos to your Mom for trying. Maybe those other cats will get used to it,heehee
We are very impressed that your Mom helped to raise $2000!!!!!!!!
PAWSOME!!!!
Purrs Mickey, Georgia & Tillie
We are very, very impressed with the $ earned at the yard sale! However, we are puzzled that the food your mom slaved over only impressed two of you though.
Mindy, Moe, Bon Bon, Cookie & Mike
Glad the fundraiser was a success!!!
Hooray for the kitties!
We are glad the yard sale was such a big success. We won't eat raw food no matter how much mum tries to persuade us.
Great news on the yard sale! That's going to help a lot of kitties! Sorry you don't like your new food but maybe it'll taste better next time.
My Daddycat had fed me with raw food and I did not like it! I know he would prefer a better diet for me.
Loki
Glad to hear that the yard sale went so well.
Great news on the yard sale, but the special food...hmm. Tommy's curious, what flavor was it? She likes trying things with us...darn her...
hummm that food looks really delicious!
Cool moment, isn't it!?
purrs and love
Luna
Our momma tries to get us to diversify sometimes and when she does, we put her right back into her place and walk away and let her waste her money. We ♥ our momma but sometimes she just doesn't listen to us☺
You are not saying you are picky are you??? Congratulations on a very successful yard sale!
We are glad to read that the yardsale went great, congrats!
We don´t like raw food...except mice hehehe
LOL, all three of us cats refused to eat Mommy's cooking she was very put out with us. Fenris on the other hand acted like it was good. Doggies have no taste.~S,S & C
PS: I thinks it was very rude to not eat it after Mommy slaved away in the kitchen cooking it. ~Fenris
Heehee...that's funny about the food. But we bet the mom didn't think so! Our Mommy has tried the raw food thing (not premix stuff, but the medallions that can be bought) and only a couple of us liked it. She hasn't tried yet with the New Kids, though!
Way to go on the yard sale, that's great news!
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
I love the canned food, too!
I wonder what Haruka and Chloe would think of homemade kitty munchies? Every time I walk into the kitchen they follow, thinking they're getting Fancy Feast . . .
I've never tried raw food, but it sounds interesting!!
$2,000?! That's pawsome!
Almost made me forget about how you all didn't eat the food your mom made for you... ;)
Wow $2000. is amazing!
Wow! That was great that you made 2000.00!
I like dry food... but Sandusky here loves canned food!
Hai pals you is tryin teh raw diet like Daisy Curly Cat duz? I duzn't thinks I wud likes it eifur - but Iz not care bowt fudz too much. *high-paw*!
Laughing! Too funny, you animals. Your mom spent so much time making something good and nice for you and you just stuck your nose up to it. LOL.
Concatulations on the yard sale!!!
We hope, that if your Mom is going to continue making you that food, that you learn to like it.
WOW! Great news about the yard sale, and all the money you made for TNR. Good luck with the food.
That food looks GOOD! MMm! You´re lucky cats!
