Forever Autumn

Meet Autumn.... she is the last of Ladybug's kittens to get TNRed. Notice the .....well, I was going to say, notice the left ear tip, but looks like the vet accidentally tipped the right ear instead....Oops! Anyway, on Monday, Autumn's caretaker called the me (I work 2 businesses down) and said he trapped the last kitten using bacon! Bacon, really? I ran over and got her and by lunchtime, Autumn was in surgery! She has been recovering in our "foster room" and will be released today back with her mom and siblings. Doesn't she look just like a long-haired Sebastian?!?!

Cute little scaredy cat! She's going to be living a better life now.

she's gorgeous! Hey, you know- a lot of vets say that just tipping like that sometimes you can't tell if it was just in a fight- some places (i know it's cruel) have started hole punching the ear to make it obvious because it's a perfect circle.

We don't care for it. But, it is a good point.

Excellent for that sweet pea! I never thought of using bacon! That is a great idea. You never know what will work. I will be trying to trap 1 of 3 hard to catch cats tonight and was going to try fast food fried chicken.
Anyway, I am so happy that kitten is taken care of!!

She's adorable. That poor frightened face just makes mom want to gather her into her arms & hold her.

Autum looks like such a sweetie. I am glad that you all rounded her and she is getting care from loving hands. I know what it was to be on the outside and I know that look. I hope she know good care is being given in her best interest. Never to be afraid again.

I think it is wonderful what you are doing to help reduce the number of wild animals in your area. TNR is a great program!

I hate to sound like a cliche but is there anything bacon can't do? I am not surprised because Floyd would go crazy for bacon - he instantly knew if it was in the house.

She is quite a little cutie - it is good that she is all fixed now!
