What's Going On

Just a quick update this morning......
The spay/neuter clinic was a great success. In all, 11 cats were spayed/neutered! The lady has a post about it on her blog.

Maya still has a little blood in his stool, but not as much. After some research, the lady bought the supplement, L-Glutamine. L-Glutamine is an amino acid that helps heal the digestive tract. We hope this will help! Thanks for all the purrs for him, we appreciate each and every one!

This afternoon, Reilly and Sebastian go for their last booster vaccnines and the FIV/FeLV combo test. We are purring and purraying very hard for negative results so they can come out and join the rest of us until they find their forever homes.

We tagged you all to play a game...just tell 7 reasons why you are awesome! Should be easy, huh??

Here's hoping for the right outcomes on the tests -- positive thoughts for negative results! I'm glad Maya is doing better, too.

That is so cool about the spay and neuters! You won't believe this and we should blog about it...I think we will tomorrow, but Michigan State University sends to us a MASH unit from their Veterinary College students and teachers twice a year to do the spays and neuters. They set up in a school for two days. Our local rescue groups provide food and housing for the students while they are here. Last week, GET THIS - 200 kitty spays and neuters with all of them getting free shots, too. Isn't this cool!

That's wonderful that 11 kitties were spayed/neutered so they can't have more homeless kittens! That's great news! We hope Maya continues to get better and that Reilly and Sebastian get a clean bill of health too! Purrs to all of them!

Awesome. Our shelter is having a spay/neuter day this Sunday. Truly great work to help end the overpopulation problem.
