One Thing Leads To Another

Maggie May went to the vet on Tuesday and she's in perfect health with knee caps in place, yay! This was her first ever annual visit with vaccinations. She weighed in at 8lbs and is in perfect body condition! She was such a good girl during the car ride and at the office.
The new black foster kitten has a name, it's Saylor! She also had a vet appointment on Tuesday. Saylor has a few issues going on at the moment. She was heavily infested with spirometra tapeworms, roundworms and she also tested positive for coccidia. On top of that, she has a protruding rectum that was caused by the infestation. This requires the lady to keep the area moist with a solution and also some ointment. If it gets worse, she may need surgery. We're keeping our paws crossed!! She is loving life as a spoiled kitten and has her very own room while she is recovering.

oh me, poor little Saylor! Those darn worms are the worst! My kittens had a bout with coccidia before we left for the beach. Thank goodness the meds got rid of it! It's amazing how much healthier they look now...thicker fur and bodies.
I am soooo happy that Saylor found an angel to rescue her!!!

You named your cat after the MALE!!!?!!!! His last name is Saylor!!! Oh I am so disgusted. Still, despite the horrendous choice of a name, I hope she gets well. What your humans are calling her really doesn't matter. Poor thing. I think she needs my help all the more.

Glad to hear Maggie got a good report. Poor little Saylor! that's an awful lot for a little girl to put up with but we know you are doing all you can for her and that the meds will kick in soon and knock all those nasty wormies out. It's good you are keeping her away from everyone else. It may take a few treatments for that coccidia to go away. Laila had that as a baby.

Poor little Saylor...such a cute name for a cute girl! We're sending purrs to her. We're also glad that Maggie May had a good check up and was good in the car. Jane always pees her pants and yells when she goes to the V.E.T. Please keep us posted and put lots of pictures of Saylor on the blog!! I think Momma's smitten with her.

Good repurrts bout Saylor and Maggie May!! We keep dem in our purrayerz n stuffoms.

About Craigslist, I tried posting Leo to help him find a home and the ad was deleted as a scam.... no idea why. That was about a year ago.

I'll try again and see if their program is more discerning now. I posted Maxwell Tigger at Petfinder and had one response by email. Supposedly from Olathe Kansas. When I asked for full name, address, phone number, place of work and three references, he never wrote back!!!
