Spay/Neuter Clinic Update

Just a quick update about the TNR clinic last weekend.....

57 free-roaming cats were spayed or neutered, vaccinated and ear-tipped!
This is Speckles. She was one of the 31 females who were spayed. There were 26 males neutered.
This is the NC State mobile unit where the surgeries were performed.
This is the beautiful view we enjoyed as we washed traps and carriers, monitored cats, etc. We were blessed with gorgeous weather both days. Thank goodness!

YAY FOR TNR!

I'm from Raleigh, NC and I am actually doing my master's capstone on feral cats. I would love to get some info from you, if you have time.

I'm so glad you talk about TNR on your blog!

That is so terrific. It is just unbelievable how many cats you get fixed up. So many less kitties in the shelters. Dana, you are the best. And that view is terrific. Take care.

Wow that is an impressive number! We think it is so great that you are helping to prevent kitties from having babies so there are hopefully less kitties stuck in shelters or on the streets - we know some are lucky to find homes but we hate to think of how many don't. So thank you for helping!!!

Yay for TNR! That's a lot of cats. I do not know what ear tipping is, though.

Did you get your CANIDAE food vouchers?

What a great day! Mother Nature was on your side for weather. She must have thought...... "Now there are some people making a difference, using up their own free time, committed to helping the less fortunate.... better make the weather cooperate for them!

This is fantastic! Thank you for the work you do, it's so important!

We've just started a blog about the adventures of the cats we rescue off the street in Brooklyn! We've given a home to many & found homes for some others & will continue to do this.
