On Friday night, the lady attended the art show opening reception. There was an awards ceremony during the reception and she won an honorable mention for her photo, "Just the Beginning." She was given a certificate and also a check for $50.00! She was completely shocked! It was the largest turn out for this show with over 400 works entered.
About an hour after she got home on Friday night, the strangest thing happened...... IT SNOWED! A LOT! We're talking like 8" or more. It hardly ever snows here, so it was quite a sight to see. 
We could have cared less and did a whole lot of this......
But, Dixie Dog had a blast running around and acting crazy!

Congrats to your Lady Servant--GORGEOUS photo!! And the renovations...uh, Tommy wants to know if they can come to Dallas...plus the snow! You guys got lots of snow like we did! We stayed inside too and 'watched' the 12.5 inches we got, like ou guys did L( --unlike Dixie dog. Hope her feeties didn't get o wet and cold!

Oh my word what a pile of snow on the NC coast. Dixie is literally knee deep in the stuff. 8" is unheard of downeast.

Living room looks great, very cool. We're glad you guys were set free finally. As Noir said, we too got a whole lot of snow in North Texas (on Thursday), we're surprised there was that much left over for you guys on Friday! MOL We still have snow in our yard, it never got as warm and sunny this weekend as it was supposed to, to melt it all.

The addition looks great and the snow looks beautiful! And dear Dixie reminds me of our family dog, Daisy. She was such a wonderful dog, and she came from the animal shelter. We've had such great luck w/all of our shelter animals. Thanks for your pictures...they bring such memories!

Congrats to you servant on the win. We has noticed that those shows are getting bigger and better for the removal of the most technical aspects of, and the trial-and-error of analog fotografy. The thing that amazes my mommy is that now the true-artists get to strut their stuffs.
