The lady has trapped two kittens behind the shop where she works. These two kittens she has never seen before, she knows of one more that was sitting next to one of the traps. She is using one of the kittens in a trap as bait for the mom. The mom isn't going for it. Wish her luck!

Yesterday the servants took Dixie Dog and CoCo the Barracuda to the vet for their yearly vaccinations and exams. CoCo belongs to the man's mom. She found him as a stray 4 years ago, he looked quite neglected and was thought to have been abused by a previous owner. He might look all cute and sweet, but he'll take your finger off in a quick second without a hint of remorse. Vishus, we tell ya! Just look at him shooting you the laser eyes!
All in all the vet trip went well, aside from CoCo having to be muzzled and Dixie Dog's high-pitched whining, but that's normal for them. During the examinations Dixie, (age estimated around 9) was found to have early signs of cataracts, but the good news is she still has good vision. CoCo (age estimated around 7) was found to have a slight sinus arrhythmia. This means that his heart rate increases when he breaths in and and slows down when he exhales, but the vet said it was nothing to worry about. They are both happy to be back home and the good news is, the vet and tech still have all of their fingers.

CoCo the Barracuda? Yikes. He sounds very askeery. We feel very sad for him. Maybe he should call Cesar Milan, the Dog Whisperer.
We have a pit bull in the yard behind us that is very askeery. Her owners raised her that way on purpose, though. She hasn't been socialized at all. They wanted her to be a guard dog. They akshully joke about no one ever breaking into their house. Mom is not amused.
Nice to know the vet is okay! hahaha

All in all a successful visit with the V-E-T I think! That's a lovely portrait of Dixie, and Coco does indeed look very cute -- hard to believe he's snap!
Glad the woofies AND the vet are all OK! We think the laser eyes are a bit scary too, but Dixie looks adorable, as always!

Glad all went well at the v-e-t. Mom and Dad had to take Madison back to the v-e-t for his ongoing sinus/upper respiratory problems. Then I was told we are all coming due for our shots....big uh oh!!

Sounds like it's risky business taking those two boys to the VETS. You hafta count your paws afterwards to make sure you sill got 'em all - or fingers if you're a bean!

I wanted to tell you that i saw that they are selling drop traps on the Alley Cat Allies website now...not cheap but they look awesome and they are collapsible/portable.
Good vet visits without any problems are always a good thing!

We are trapping a colonly of 10 cats and kittens on Friday night. Fingers crossed that we get them all in one fell swoop!!

HI GUYS!!!!! We have missed you SO MUCH over the last couple of weeks! We wanted to come and visit right away and say thank you SO MUCH for all your support for our family. Ba-ba-ba-barraCUda!!! That's a cool name CoCo has. My aunt Molly is nicknamed "the Alligator" but not cuz she bites people. She's a chocolate lab and she can shred a toy in 4 minutes flat.
Glad the vet is OK and everything went well. Hope the feral cats get trapped and fixed...population control is very important.

Good to know everyone is healthy! Alice had to go for her monthly shot yesterday and as usual she flooded the waiting room floor...sigh...they know that when they see Alice coming they better reach for the mop!
