Some totally pawsome news......
The 5 remaining kittens are no longer orphans! They have a momma to take care of them now, her name is Lily! The BCCP president located a lactating female to act as a surrogate for the kittens. Isn't that the most wonderful news? 
Lily's thinking......wait......what?
She is nursing and washing them in addition to her one kitten. Lily was pregnant when she was rescue from the shelter by a very nice lady. That lady is so nice that she has taken the 5 kittens into her home so Lily can nurse them.
Look closely and you will see Lily's white kitten.

Lily, you are so amazing and sweet! What a generous momma cat you are! It will also be good for her lone kitten to be socialized with the 5 others, so every kitten/cat wins!!!! Love this!
That is so awesome! Now the kittens will get socialized to cats as well as humans. Cory's right, too, about Lily's kitten having her/his socializing time with the former orphans. How sweet are those pictures!

We were in need of hearing good news this week and this certainly is! How wonderful that Lily is mothering the baby kittens and that the lady who had Lily agreed to take them into her home so Lily could nurse them! Such pawsome news!
