Just got paid today, got me a pocket full of..........mice!
We are all so happy the weekend is here! It is supposed to warm up and the forecast for Sunday is 70 degrees! We are hoping to hang out on the back porch and catch some rays.
We think the fresh air will be good for Cal. At his weigh-in on Monday he had lost a few ounces. He had some bloods stolen and the results showed a slightly elevated wbc count and slight anemia, his thyroid, kidneys, etc. were normal. He continues to be on prednisilone daily is eating very well (about 4 times a day) and acting normal. His stools go from normal one day to mushy "cal pies" the next. We may go forward with another test next week which will show if he has malabsorption syndrome which sometimes coincides with IBD. Please continue to purr for Cal!
Our Pop is on the road to recovery, although driving our Nana crazy :) She can't quite understand how a man (who is supposed to be layed up all day and off his foot!) can get a house so messy while she is at work. A few more weeks of antibiotics and he should be good to go! Our Nana has her appointment with the internist next week to see about effectively treating her Hashimotos.

We will purr for sweet Cal to have lots of normal days and less Cal-pies.

We need to see if mom will get us new mice...she thinks we still have plenty of toys lying around and it's just that we need to fish them out from under the furniture. Enjoy the weekend! We are so happy it's just about here we can hardly stand it!

as for me, my mom, or i call her 'mak' which is in Malay, did not buy me any toy..
but once she let me playing outside, i'll catch her a bird and squirrel!
Mices and the weekend and catching rays on the back porch ! Does it get any better? Its twue what you say about the male species. They always seem to need someone to tidy up after them, even if they are only sitting bweething. Purrs to everyone.

Some of our mice disappear but then Mommy finds them in the dog run, packaged in a non-refundable wrapper! OBI knows not to touch cat toys but he just loves our mice!

We're going to get some milder weather this week too, but we are happy to see it get to around 30. The snow is soft & kind of melty!
I wish my beans got paid in mice! That is a great salary you have.
Poor Cal, we're so sorry he is not doing well. Mommy remembers this time in our lives very clearly. Has changing foods helped at all? I don't have the malabsorption syndrome and will purr and purr Cal doesn't either. I'm sure there is an easy fix to that. purrrrrs

We went couch diving just the other day and found some of our "lost" mice (and a quarter too)! Yours look really yummy!
