It's formerly feral Friday and I thought it was time I got a post in here, since I am formerly feral. Being feral and an un-neutered male living on the streets has its consequences.....I am FIV+. I am grateful everyday that the servants did not euthanize me when they got the positive results. Instead they had me neutered, gave me my own suite, and spend lots of time with me. They believe that I deserved the right to live and now I have a great life on the creek. My suite has lovely views of the water and nature. I love to sit in the window and watch the bunnies and birds.
I am in excellent health and you would never even know I had this virus. FIV is not a death sentence and it is nothing to be ashamed of. I am so glad I went in the servants trap and not the Animal Control man's trap......that would not have ended well!

I am glad you picked the right trap too. You look like you have a wonderful little suite all to yourself. What is that interesting jungle gym you have there? It looks like lots of fun.

I am also really glad that you picked the right trap. There are some other FIV+ kitties around the Cat Blogosphere. Mr. Hendrix and Meep, Twizzler and Bear are the ones who spring immediately to mind. It looks to me like you have a great suite.
Your servants did just the right thing in giving you your own suite. FIV kitties can live long happy lives and you look as if you are doing just that!
