Mr. Grinch

Meet our newest shelter foster kitten, Grinch! I don't know where he got his name...... he's definitely not a mean one :) I guess it's because of his amazingly loooong ear furs! Aren't they spectacular? He'll be with us until next Friday. He will be traveling to a rescue up North!! He's nursing a URI (of course!) but hopefully I can get a handle on it before it gets too bad.

Gretchen's Big Night Out

Saturday night, Gretchen decided to come out and roam the house. She went in every room! She enjoyed laying under our bed the most. Not sure Maggie May liked that very much, but there was no hissing or fighting. Things are going very well!

Gretchen ventured out of the room and out into the hallway, but that's as far as she's gotten. All the kitties have been in her room to visit her and they have all behaved themselves quite well. Maya did have a hissy fit, but it was short-lived.

A Farrah Update!

From Farrah's new mom, Stacy on Monday......

We are doing great - we all adore her!! She waltzed in like she owned the joint. She's happy, running around, eating just fine - and doesn't seem stressed out at all - which really surprised me - I thought she would be a little frightened - but no. Ben (dog) adjusted just fine - like I thought - she ran right up to him - touched noses - batted at his face a little and ran off to see what else is fun. Our other cat is taking a little more time - he hissed and ran away - but now he's already started to creep up to watch her - so he's warming up - he watches her play and he's gonna want to join in - so I'm not worried. She's really a little love. I kept her in my mother's room last night with food/water/litter box - and she slept fine then in the morning cuddled up with my mother. It was very hard to go to work today - I think it may be a short day today...

Before Farrah left on Saturday, we let her have a quick visit with the other kitties. She fit in so well. She is already in her new forever home and we will post an update as soon as we get one.
