Last month, we posted about
Ferris stealing corn of the man's plate. He hopped right up on the coffee table, snagged it off the plate and started nomming away. Ferris has stolen lots and lots of food during his 3 years on this earth. In fact, his nickname in this house is "Feral" because of his food stealing ways. The lady has learned not to leave any food out on the counter or thawing in the sink. One of his favorite foods to steal is Dixie Dog's kibble. The servants had to get a locking storage container to keep her food safe from "Feral."

A few weeks ago the man called the lady down to the garage for some help. When she walked in, this is what she saw. This is the second hummingbird to fly in the garage and not be able to fly back out of the two huge garage door openings.
The silly bird kept flying around, banging it's head on the ceiling. 
The last hummer to do this tired out pretty quick, but not this guy! He must have really been hopped up on some serious nectar because he wasn't wearing out anytime soon.
For a good thirty minutes the lady stood in the middle of the garage holding up a hummingbird feeder because that's what had worked the last time.
After a while, the man took over and held up the feeder, but the bird was having none of it. So the man climbs on the back of a truck he had on the car lift, he reached up and grabbed the little bird. 
After a few slurps, the hummingbird flew off to a nearby mimosa tree to refuel!
