Maggie May was so happy to receive her runner up prize from Baby Patches Spring Photo Contest. Baby Patches is Chief Kit at her mom's store, suppliesjustforpets.com. Once again, we were very impressed by the super fast shipping! Maggie May chose the VitaKitty Chicken Cat Treats. Not only are these treats yummy, they are also healthy and use cage-free chicken! All of us kitties here on the creek enjoyed these treats. Although Ferris wanted to, the lady made sure he didn't run of with these, like he did the party mix. We give these treats 12 paws up!

A Little Bit Of Green

We participated in our first Swap N Tails in March. The theme was green! We sent a package to Miz Allie Cat while Pearl, Bert and Jake sent us this very cool green package. There was party mix treats, fuzzy bugs, nip toys, and a green mouse. There was also some treats for the Dixie Dog, and a very pretty decorated Easter egg and kitty note pad for the lady. They also included a very cute Spring card! Thank you, Pearl, Bert and Jake! We love our green gifts!

As you can see, Ferris got a little carried away with the party mix. Ever heard of sharing, Ferris?? You aren't the only cat in this house and last we checked the mailing label says The Creek Cats, not just Ferris!

Thank You For Being A Friend

Spunky and Soccer Ball come by and visit pretty much every afternoon. They don't really come for food, they mostly come to steal our servant's attention and get scritches. We don't really appreciate that.

As you can see, Rambler doesn't appreciate it either, as he gives them his best laser eyes.

Powder and Puff's Birthday Commentathon was a great success! They raised $25.00 for the TNR organization our lady volunteers for, in honor of Cal.

Thanks to Cory who raised $34.00 by donating 25 for every comment left on Powder and Puff's birthday post and Cory's own birthday post! That's a total of $59.00! WOW! We can't thank you guys enough and everyone who participated! We have phenomenal friends! Words can't describe..... Ya'll did Cal proud!

Concats to TigerLily for winning Baby Patches Spring Photo Contest! Maggie May took home Runner Up, along with sweet Chilli and handsome Ginger Jasper! She can't wait to get her treat prize. Concats to all who participated! We know Baby Patches had such a hard decision because there were 43 wonderful entries!

Shadow and Molly are having a raffle to raise green papers for Caboodle Ranch to build a fence to keep the coyotes away from the kitties. Tickets are only $2.00, there is a package for kitties and a package for woofies in the raffle with hand knitted blankets!

Caboodle Ranch is a 30 acre non-profit cat rescue society; founded by a single individual who cared enough to make a difference in the lives of our fuzzy little friends. Gotta love that!

In honor of Powder and Puff's 11th birthdays, they are celebrating with a commentathon to help raise money for the TNR organization the lady volunteers with, in honor of our sweet Cal! We are so touched by their kindness! Happy Birthday Powder and Puff and thanks to everyone at Perfectly Parker's!

Now Cory has joined in the commentathon! Cory says, "my mom is going to send 25 cents in honor of Cal for every Birthday wish you send to Powder and Puff...plus we'll add 25 cents for every comment left on my birthday post."

We don't even know what to say! Thank you doesn't seem like enough!

Well, we thought it was time to get back into the swing of things again and blog. We had to share this amazing gift from great friends of the servants, Neal and Jen. This was Cal in his Halloween 2008 costume....... he was a Calboy ;) It's printed on canvas and looks like a painting, we love it! The servants hung it in our kitchen, his favorite room in the house.

The lady bought an old real wood desk at the TNR yard sale for 10 bucks. Most people would maybe sand it, refinish with stain and stick some new hardware on, right? Well, not our crazy servant lady, oh no! For those of you who shutter at the thought of paint touching good wood, be sure to look away, for you've been warned!

Over the weekend she commited the crime of painting real wood. She now pleads temporary insanity stating she was greif-stricken, so we're letting her off easy. No need to adjust the color settings on your monitor........ it really is hot pink. It's now her art desk in the loft. All we can say is, at least it's not downstairs in the living room for all to see.
