Last week was a week of firsts here at our house. It was the first time Ziggy discovered he had a super long tail.

He also discovered the loft railing for the first time.
Ziggy and Saylor
This was all well and good until he discovered (and tried to catch) his tail while on the loft railing. That was way too scary to photograph and I got him down as soon as possible. As far as I know, he hasn't been back up since.

It was also the very first time I have ever seen Maggie May make muffins. Yes, she is nearly 3 years old, and I have never seen her make two-handed muffins. Every now and then, she will knead a little with one paw. So it was an awesome surprise to wake up the other morning to her making muffins on my tummy. Thing is, I haven't witnessed her doing it since. Could it only be a one time deal? I hope not.

Those railings are fun to walk on! Not so fun to chase your own tail on, though!
My darling Maggie May, will you come to me and make muffins with me ?!?! This is lovely news and I am so happy I am purring away. I make muffins when I wash Äiti. And sometimes on the bed too.
I am so glad my card arrived (and so quickly too). With all my love, Punapippuri, your king xxxxx

Yes, our mom would just about have had a heart attack too, to see you both up on that railing. Never mind chasing your tail while up there!
Maggie May, we hope you make muffins again soon! Actually, our Derry only recently started kneading--he learned to do it by watching Nicki, who is a big kneader.
Saylor and Ziggy, seeing you up on the railing reminds me of Nigel and me...minus the railing! Ha...although Ziggy's tail is way more floofy than either of ours.
You are way braver than us!

Please be careful up on that railing, that tail chasing could hurt!
I am glad your mum got you down before you fell as that could have been so hurtful. I can just immagine your mums thrill at the muffing making. I bet you will do it again.. Hugs GJ xx

Great pic of the railing walk, but I bet the tail chase on the railing was super scary!! Hope Maggie May keeps making two pawed muffins -- so sweet!

Wow Ziggy really does have a super long tail! We hope he doesn't go back up on the railing - we know our mom hates when we do that, and to try and get your tail up there is crazy!
And that is cool about Maggie making the muffins - we hope that she tries it again!!
Tails help you balance but still...kinda scary!
Stay off the railing...it makes moms crazy!
Oh gosh Saylor and Ziggy, we hope you don't do that fancy stuff again. Maggie it is time for you to do some more kneading. We sure hope you start doing that soon. Take care.
what a wonderful day of firsts. On the railing incident is scary. Kizzy tried that here and fell off thank goodness she landed on her feet!
Wow, theese are such great firsts (except for the railing - my Human says!).
Holy toledo Ziggy and Saylor, that is soooo scary seeing you two so high up on the loft railing! Be careful up there, okay?
Purrs and headbutts,
Sabrina, Sam and Simon
I hope Maggie May keeps it up. My sister Josie is seven and just started sleeping on Dad's tummy. I love the rail, but I think I wouldn't chase my tail on the rail.

Those are great firsts. Mom says the one on the railing is a little scary though!
