Oh my goodness Dixie dog! Where will you sleep now? You are too good! Our Jack Russell Terrier, Cooper would just sit right next to (or slightly on top of, if space was minimal) the lucky kitty. They usually move at the indignity, but not all the time :). ~Lisa Co9T

Poor Dixie! This isn't the first time I've seen a kitty sleeping in the dog's bed! It seems to be a uniFURsal right as far as cat's are concerned. I guess that just shows who really rules the uniFURse!
Hahahaha. SMART dog! Pebbles knows the same rules in our house! She knows when Melvin wants the chair, it's her time to get out out out! Even though she outweighs Melvin by about 12 pounds!

Thank you so much for all the purrs and prayers for our little hansel. It means the world to us- and we truly believe that with everyone in the cb - it's how we got through all of this. We don't know what we'd do without everyone! Hansel is doing very well - walking around, but we did have to put his cone on- as he thinks he should eat his sutures. He is eating, taking meds, drinking, using the litter box, everything is fantastic!

Oh Dixie, our cats take our beds all the time too. It is maddening, isn't it.Drives us nuts. Those darn cats just know where it is comfortable.

We feel for the dog, but we don't know how the kitty is sleeping with the dog staring at him like that, either! MOL!

Cats always get dibs on the beds. And they know just how to lay down so that sharing is not physically possible.
Well you probably already tried just laying down on top of the cat gently.
