Drunken Saylor

Saylor's spay went great and she is recovering well. I made her a comfy nest on the bed so she could sleep it off because she was still a little drunk when we brought her home. Thanks for all the purrs and purrayers!!!

So that's what they do with a drunken Saylor -- they spay her? Not nice at all. It's good to see her recovering well and in such luxury, however.

Great job Saylor...the soreness won't last forever!

Saylor we hope you feel much better soon! We know that being spayed is much harder on a kitty then the neutering is for the boys so we hope you heal up quickly!!

Dear Saylor's parents,

Nine out of ten V-E-T's recommend a triple dose of treats each day to help heal spaying incisions. Really, honest, it's true!

Sincerely,
Alice

(psst! Hey Saylor, how was that?)

Hey Creek Cats!

I got your comment and question on my blog and thought I'd comment back here so you don't miss anything.

I'm so glad you like our photography! The photos in today's post are actually Gloman's. (Glogirly's husband) He has a lot of professional gear, all Nikon. Currently he has a D3X and a D3. Glogirly takes alot of the day to day stuff with her little point & shoot camera. She has a Leica D-LUX 3. Gloman is an expert when it comes to this stuff...his photos of cats are just the tip of the iceberg. He's constantly researching the latest and greatest from all the brands. If you are looking for a point & shoot versus a single lens reflex (SLR) I know he'd recommend the Leica's as a first choice or the new Panasonic Lumix as a second choice.

Glad that Saylor is home and getting better. Our kitty (long ago)Dandelion was drunk after she had her similar surgery! She had the surgery and came home the same afternoon that the Loma Prieta earthquake happened!
